Florida Parent Information and Resource Center (Florida PIRC)

The Florida PIRC provides training and assistance to schools and districts on how to effectively involve parents in their children's education.  The Florida PIRC especially seeks to support the families of children who may be educationally disadvantaged.  The services they provide include workshops that school administrators, faculty, and parents may attend, downloadable workshops which can be accessed at any time, and tip sheets for parents that provide information on how they can get involved in their children's education.  Special events are also held throughout the year, which are free to attend.  Information on all of the above, and more, may be found online at, or by calling (813)974-5458.
